My Favorite Dream Duos Denim Designs

Lately, I’ve been in the mood to create more Dream Duos Denim designs by upcycling the pieces that I have & add some variation to my wardrobe. Denim is very practical & I think for that reason it can be taken for granted. Most of the time, I don’t think too hard about it when I need to throw on a pair of jeans, but by changing things up, it invites me to be more thoughtful about how I style my clothes.

While I was going through my options, I remembered these cropped pants that I liked, but I always wished they had more length. Then I realized that I could add the lenght myself! For this, I didn't need to cut since they were already short, I just crocheted several panels of granny squares and attached them to the bottom. It's one of my easier Dream Duos projects because it required less work.

The denim waistband shirt is a design I made before &I keep updating it. This piece was from a previous rework &I had an extra waistband I needed to make use of. The colors include blues, white, & pink, (also currently loving to experiment with color combinations) & it's perfect for the warmer weather. There’s also a Free Tutorial on the Dream Crochet YouTube Channel, if you’d like to try this yourself!

Bell bottoms already give vintage vibes, (which I love!) & I wanted to crank that energy up even more. I added panels to make the leg openings even wider, & crocheted flowers on the bottom to create that hippy flavor. The distressed denim gives it a slight edge & creates a nice contrast that I just adore.

The Dream Duos Denim collection compilation video has some of my very favorite upcycle clothes I've ever made. These include thrift flips and upcycles both new and older and seeing all these together only makes me want to make more.I love the jumper dress so much, as well as the colorful waistband skirt, and the dramatic denim trench jacket
