Dream Crochet 2025 Spring Accessories
I’m inspired by accessories for both style and practical reasons. I love it when the two sides can collide and create a magical aesthetic, and now that Spring is here, I just want to bring color and vitality to my crochet creations. These are some of my fave Spring accessories that are certain to liven up life!
I love picnics so much, but I hardly ever take the time to have one. I had a spare box lying around and I decided to give myself a challenge. I used a basketweave stitch to fit the theme and added a pink bow by the handle. This makes for a nice decoration, and I definitely want to experiment with more colors.
More bags! I created 12 bags by upcycling fabric &crocheting the borders and the handles. When I go out and wear a simple dress or a casual outfit, I can grab one of these eye-catching bags to add a dash of flash.
It's taken me too long to make these headscarves, but I finally got around to doing them. They've been in my mind and I just kept holding off on going for these handmade hair accessories. I made three upcycled headscarves using scrap fabric and I included a DIY tutorial to make them yourself!
The granny square bag will never go out of style. I often compose bags with multiple granny squares, but for this one, I made two big ones using a clear makeup tote. If you feel like being maximalist, you can wear this with granny square clothing, or if you're even bolder, go with another pattern like stripes.
I love wearing clogs because of how comfortable they are, but they're more exciting when crochet is added to them.. Clogs tend to be rather straight-forward, so I really wanted to push the envelope & upcycled a pair. Applying crochet flower-appliques by hand on to them. Sustainable fashion can feel so stylishly original & truly create handmade charm.
