The Dream Crochet: Spring 2026 Floral Designs

I love all things flowers, and well, going into Spring, I really make it a conscious point to incorporate more of them into my designs (as much as I possibly can!) As I create more pieces in the style of a more Sophisticated, mindful Dreamwear, I’m really challenging myself to be even more creative with them. I want my designs to have a nice balance that feels natural and yet still has prominence. That’s where all of the magic truly happens.

I was in a nostalgic mood, so I went back to this babydoll inspired crochet dress that I made a few years back, and it was even more fun this time. What I adore about this is that the multi-colored rosettes are so small and minimalist, which gives it an added sense of whimsy. This light blue has also become one of the signature colors for my Spring clothes, so it all aligned perfectly. The Garden Party Crochet Dress is available at the Dream Crochet Shoppe!

I adorned this crochet hook bag with florals, and this little touch turns something simple into something simply beautiful. I'm practicing embroidery ideas, and I wanted to start small. I needed a new crochet hook pouch for Spring, so this ended up being my test project, and I'm happy with how it turned out. I'm looking forward to experimenting with more designs, including tops, crochet dresses, and more!

I have to admit, this is one of my favorite recent tops. I wanted to give this top a little flower love, so I crocheted pink ones and used them for the straps. I left green yarn threads hanging from them, which represent the stems, and it also creates a naturalistic effect. This would also look wondrous as a dress!

Crocheted Vests are one of my favorite layering pieces, and I really wanted to think about how I can incorporate flowers in a unique way. Then, it hit me. I decided to make tapestry pockets with a little purple flower that matches the vest itself! It gives it a cool patchwork vibe, it's a distinct feature, and yet it flows together. It’s always a good thing when fashion meets function.

Putting all these floral pieces inspires me to apply them in surprising ways. That’s the exciting part about these designs: there are so many opportunities to mix and match them. I’m so excited about this!
