Crochet Tops for Summer 2026
When the temperature rises, it's time to put on some comfortable tops to beat the heat. It's been pretty hot here lately, and keeping cool is my main priority when it comes to picking my outfits. That’s why it’s important to have a variety of styles so that whatever I choose, I’m happy with the results. Here are some of the recent tops that I’ve crocheted for Summer 2026.
I was inspired by a crochet dress to make this mini crochet top. The empire waist really struck me, and I knew that another version of it would be super fun. It was based on the Onism Dress, which is one of my favorites, and I made it into a strapless top. The fun part about this is that it's perfect to get extra with accessories because there's so much space on your neckline and arms.
The Ryders Top ( pattern coming soon!) is so cozy and cool. It's a lacy off-the-shoulder top with a flowy, off-the-shoulder design that just feels effortless. The wide, boat-style allows you to wear it in multiple ways, whatever you're comfortable with, and the tonal greens are so striking. I've made this in a few colors, and I entirely plan on making more.
It's interesting when I go into a project with an idea in mind, and it turns into something else, and that's what happened with the Coiles Crochet Top (also, coming soon!) I planned on something flowy, but ended up with a more structured top. This short-sleeved beige, peplum hem top features wooden buttons and is simplistic in a very beautiful way. The scoopneck offers enough space to wear a statement necklace, or you can go without it for a fresh look. The best part is that it looks so nice with an assortment of bottoms, an A-line skirt would be sophisticated, and flared jeans will have vintage vibes.
This off-the-shoulder top was also based on a dress design, and it has a wide neck so it feels nice and breezy. I used a lacy shell stitch, and the layer has a scalloped hem. This boho blouse feels chill in the best way, but the vibrant pink color is attention-grabbing, and I like that contrast. I could also see this top in neutral colors for something subdued, and I’d like to wear this with jean shorts or a flowy skirt to really sell the bohemian style.
It’s been an exciting challenge pairing my new Sophistication Dreamwear style with Summer aesthetics, and I’ve got more in store. I plan on experimenting more with color and yarn types in the future!
